13th March - IW - The Last Day with The International Students

On Friday we made presentations and porfolios about the International week. We were pretty free in a way how to make that and each group took it different way - which was great!
We had a crossword, a performance with pictures, presentations, drawings, a bow with stuff, an internet-magazine...

At noon a very special occasion was happening in the college yard. The headmaster had 50th birthday and you know what? He decided to open a hot-dog- and a beer-stand for all students and teachers of the college...Unbelievable :-)
Danish flags couldn´t be missing on the birthday-day, of course. :-)
And I managed to get a picture of me, hot-dog and the headmaster :-)

After these hot-dogs we had a "farewell international lunch" together. Everyone should prepare or bring something typical from their countries - chocolate, cheese, drink, cake...whatever. :-) We filled our stomaches pretty much and we enjoyed it even more :-)

Later on we went with some schoolmates to the Haderslev windmill and museum, it was beautiful sunny afternoon and we enjoyed taking pictures altogether there very much. :-)

We wanted to spend toghether as much time as possible, therefore we had also the last party at Christina´s flat. We enjoyed it very much (Mange tak, Christina!). And on the way home, I must confess, I felt so sad that I am not going to see most of the people any more... We just get used to all of the international students so quickly and now they are going to leave... So, saying Goodbye and "See you" was pretty difficult...

13th to 15th Feb - Second Weekend

We spend most of the prolonged second weekend with preparing our presentations about our country and our educational system. Unfortunately, I had a bad backache, because of spending so much time on computer. Maybe I would prefer having these presentations not so very close together, but it´s only my modest proposal for next years...
Anyway, I went for some short walks too - to breathe in some fresh air and to enjoy beatuiful Haderslev town.

We also get some "snow delivery" :) during the weekend, but it was melt soon, unfortunately...

And one more picutre: as I said we change in cooking in our house. There is Zep with her really delicious meal - bulgur, fried pepers and chicken wings...Mmmmm :)
See her happy face - it is the first time she has prepared that meal on her own.
All of us started to cook national meals when we left home. It´s pretty good practise for live. ;)

3rd and 4th Feb - Lessons and other activities

On Tuesday we learnt how to create a weblog (therefore you can´t read this now ;-) ). In the afternoon we had a lesson with Jette - we spoke about our expectations and discused reasons why we wanted to became Erasmum students. There are a few of mine:
I would like to improve my English and get life experience, I love travelling and meeting new people, I want to gain knowledge about foreign educational system and practice teaching, and above all - I found the project "Living and Learning Together" very interesting.
I can say that so far, all my expectations have been filled very well.

On Wednesday we had a very good Music lesson which we enjoyed very much. We sang a" welcome song" and composed our own from the "greeting words" of our countries, played and composed different rythms with bottles and our body (for an example see the video), listened to a piece of music and drew a four-part pictures according to the music (and played it as a drama then) and sang a lot of songs... Thank you Annette!

After school on Wednesday me, Maté, Noemi and our buddy Carsten went for a walk in Haderslev to fill a "Haderslev quiz", which we got at school. There were questions about places, history and shops, which we had to find. And we also had to ask people in the streets or shops.
I think it is very nice idea, how to get the students acquainted with the town "actively".
Eventhoug it was foggy and chilly weather, we enjoyed it pretty much and found a lot of beautiful and interesting places. I´m sure we will explore them more and we will enjoy our time in this charming town very much.
The pictures speak for themselves...
